People are smiling; the subtle sound of corks being popped & outdoor chatter combined with children’s laughter from the parks echo in the streets. Just make a nod to Chelsea Flower Show to feel truly inspired and in the spirit of spring – look at our May event suggestions to feel inspired & try something new this month.

In the run up to the summer wedding marathon, comes the slightly less responsible, childish fun part – The stag & hen parties!

No matter what type of bride, or groom, you are, one thing is for certain and that is your stag or hen is THE time to let your hair down and have some fun! Usually it is the maid of honor, or the best-man who shoulders this responsibility, so here are some STORCX top tips to help make your job easier and to ensure that you are going to party like the rock-stars you know you are!

  1. Remember Who it’s for

The most important thing when planning your night, or weekend, is that the bride or groom are the centre of attention and all the friends are there purely to indulge them and make sure everyone has the time of their life.

  1. Pick a destination

Destination weekends are all the rage and certainly provide a more memorable time.  Anonymity, where you can really run wild away from your usual haunts, although dangerous, can be wild fun and a good excuse to really switch off from your daily chores.

  1. Organisation

As your weekend away is supposed to be FUN & stress free it is essential you are organized.  Book your hotels, restaurants, spas and bars in advance, tally the amounts and use to collect the funds from all the guests and then one person can be responsible so the rest of you can enjoy!

  1. Make Memories

Why not get creative and make personalized t-shirts or baseball caps to commemorate the occasion? You can combine this with booking a crazy activity such as sky diving or bungee jumping for an unforgettable experience.
